My partner Mike and I went to Paris last month. These are shots captured. Also reference the Analog Tweets from Paris series, as this may give you some context. The shots/slides are available to view on Flickr, and are hidden behind a cut so as not to make Livejournal explode.

The Latin Quarter is thus called because it’s where the Romans used to hang out. Nowadays it’s where the tourists and those willing to put up with the tourists hang out. We stayed on Saint Germain, in walking distance of Notre Dame, and we got around by walking and taking the Metro. We really didn’t wander out the Quarter too much – it’s really close to the gigantic tourism opportunities, and as I found out in the fromagerie, speaking English. like speaking French, is no guarantee for understanding the language. Thank the popularity of US CSI for making it safe for me to make gestures in France with relatively low risk of offending anyone.
