Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Silhouette in the Gurthrie Window

Thought I’d post this fun shot from when Mike and I went to the Guthrie in January.

Today is the best – or worst – day to live in Minneapolis/Saint Paul, because if there’s a bar, people are at it, 11 am guaranteed. Thankfully a beer company makes mass transit free in this city this one day of the year, and another one does us the same favor on New Year’s Eve. To be honest, I don’t care for it.

I enjoy a good libation myself, but when the only point is excess consumption, it’s a huge turnoff. If you can’t do the crazy fun stuff without the liquor, there’s something wrong with you. Period.
